Australian military transition study

In this study, we will be exploring relationships between engagement in life activities, health, and adjustment to civilian life among former members of the ADF. Using a cross-sectional survey design, we will collect background demographic and service-related information and ask former service members to rate their exposure to combat related and military sexual trauma, physical health, mental health, and  frequency of engagement in a range of life activities. Information from the study will be used to inform the development of activity based strategies that  enable former service members to transition to civilian life with improved health outcomes.
