The Treatment Research Collaboration will undertake pioneering research into PTSD and other complex military related mental health issues.
It will improve understanding of PTSD and test innovative psychological, social, and neurobiological treatments and delivery methods. It will include a particular focus on early intervention to reduce the cumulative impact of PTSD and related disorders.
The Treatment Research Collaboration will have a central hub in Melbourne at Phoenix Australia and the Royal Melbourne Hospital, with satellite sites across Australia. These satellite locations will link with Australian Defence Force Garrison Health Services, Veterans and Veterans Families Counselling Service (VVCS), key research centres, and private hospitals specialising in veteran and military mental health.
